Rosie is a leading provider of eCommerce, marketing, and data analytics services to the US Grocery Industry. Consumers use Rosie’s iOS, Android, and web shopping platforms to shop online from their favorite local stores for same-day delivery or in-store pickup. Rosie partners with grocery retailers and their wholesalers to provide the service, and also partners with suppliers (major CPG brands) to conduct product placement, promotions, and other programs online and to provide consumer behavior data insights.

The company is growing rapidly, currently serving retailers in a majority of US states with exponential growth expected to continue over the next several years. Rosie has an opening for the position of National Account Executive, in which a high performing sales professional would develop new business for the company by signing new retailers to utilize Rosie's platforms.

Position Summary

You will be responsible for building relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers across the US to demonstrate the value of Rosie and how our unique solution can meet their business needs. A consultative, solution-oriented approach is typically the most successful as Rosie's clients utilize Rosie to achieve their long-term strategic growth goals. As a National Account Executive at Rosie, you will utilize phone, online demos, and in-person meetings with VP and C-Level executives of retail chains around the country for the purpose of signing multi-year contracts along with additional services and equipment.

To be successful in this role you have to be ambitious, organized, a great communicator, and motivated to produce results. To facilitate your sales efforts, the company has established an industry-wide reputation for exceptional customer service and outstanding eCommerce software. Rosie has also established exclusive and preferred distribution agreements with numerous industry groups and trade partners, creating a rich pipeline of warm leads for your use. A majority of time will be spent working existing leads and facilitating the contract sign-off process, while a small percentage of time will be spent generating and engaging new leads.


  • 2 – 10 years relevant sales experience in B2B sales developing new accounts.
  • Familiarity with complex sales techniques: engaging prospects with multiple decision makers over a lengthy sales cycle
  • Experience in solution-based selling and business needs analysis
  • Demonstrable ability to learn technical product specifications
  • Experience working through contract negotiations with clients
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong initiative, work ethic, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge and ability of working in CRM systems
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Extra Positive: Experience selling enterprise software, technology licenses, or experience in the grocery industry
  • Reside in Boston, MA or Ithaca, NY


  • Acquire new customer accounts for Rosie (grocery retail chains) by demonstrating and selling the value of Rosie's eCommerce platform and associated services/products to grocery retailers and their influencers (wholesalers, suppliers, and other industry groups)
  • Develop insightful proposals and deliver effective and strategic sales presentations across phone, web demos, video chats, and in-person presentations
  • Close new business with solution based selling tactics by having retailers sign multi-year software license agreements
  • Effectively prospect and manage prospects through all phases of the sales cycle
  • Collaborate across the organization and directly within the sales team to identify the right solution for prospects with a variety of use cases
  • Actively use CRM system to manage pipeline and forecast results
  • Become a trusted advisor on online grocery shopping in the US
